In between was exhibited as part of Ruby’s solo exhibition ‘See you at the River’ at No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne, 2024. This painting represents Bovill bringing together her experiences of connection with two places in one art work. Bovill has chosen flora inspired by the banks of the Murray river as well as the banks of the Merri Creek. This represents for Bovill her past and present coming together.
