This artwork Our place was created in memory of Bovill’s grandmother Bev who recently passed away. Bev lived in Echuca for the majority of Bovill’s childhood and took Bovill, her siblings and cousins down to swim along the banks of the Murray River regularly. This painting is an abstraction of the flora found along the banks of the Murray river. The title Our place refers to a particular swimming spot that Bev favoured.
